Here’s a nice thought from Mankato today, where students at Mankato East High School lined up by the football field to show support for former player Isaac Kolstad, who was beaten into a coma at a Mankato bar over the weekend.

A criminal complaint was filed today against Trevor Shelley, 21, of St. Peter. Earlier, former University of Minnesota quarterback Philip Nelson was charged in the beating. Both suspects went to Mankato West High School.
