Video: Truck ignores stopped school bus, misses kids

What part of the “stop for a school bus” law don’t some Minnesota drivers get? All of it, apparently.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety released this video today of a truck driver in St. Louis County blowing past a school bus, which had stopped for a little kid on the other side of the street.

Also note that the truck is driving in the breakdown lane, inches from where the people were standing.

A 2014 survey revealed that in just one day, Minnesota school bus drivers reported 402 illegal passing violations, the DPS said.
