Alex Savidge of KTVU was live on the air at the not-scene-of-the-train-derailment when the near tragedy occurred.
The nature of journalists being what it is, the first remark of the cameraperson wasn’t, “are you OK?” It was “tell them you’re OK.”
Savidge apologized on Facebook for using “bad language.”
